Obituary of Zenah Bain Teater III

Zenah Bain Teater III, 75, Harrodsburg, KY, passed Monday, December 25, 2023, in Lexington KY at the VA hospital. He was born October 13, 1948, in Mercer County. He was the son of the late Zenah Bain and Frances (Cunningham) Teater Jr. Zenah was a Craftsman for Ft. Harrod State Park and enjoyed making brooms. He was a member of Harrodsburg Christian Church, American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans. He was also a huge advocate for AA and was a sponsor to so many. Zenah was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, serving the majority of his time in a submarine. Survivors include: one son, Joshua (Ashley) Bain Teater of Lexington, KY; one sister, Jane Teater Bruno of Lexington, KY; two grandsons, Bain and Brooks Teater; three nieces and two nephews; and a beloved friend, Denise Kasell. Funeral services 1 PM, Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY, by Ken Pearce. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be held at Ransdell Funeral Chapel Friday December 29th, 2023 from 10 AM until 1 PM.
