Ruth Payne Claycomb, 70, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Jackie L. Claycomb, died Monday, January 1, 2024, at the Morning Point, Danville KY. She was born June 26, 1953, in Mercer County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Dillard Wheeler and Edith Catherine (Stocker) Payne. Ruth was a retired co-owner of Lee’s Famous Recipe in Harrodsburg KY along with her husband Jackie. She was a member of Bohon Church of Christ. Other survivors include; seven cousin’s, Jennette Milburn, Jamie Milburn Cook, Martin Milburn all of Harrodsburg, KY, Bill Stocker, Tommy Stocker, Melissa Cross and Robert Stocker all of Danville, KY. Funeral services will be held at Ransdell Funeral Chapel Saturday January 6, 2024 at 2 PM. Burial will follow in Bohon Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 11AM until 2 PM Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers: Eric Warner, Jeff Claycomb, Scott Claycomb, Troy Wright, Samuel Durr and Jordan Preston. Memorials are suggested to be sent to Bohon Church of Christ, 4908 Bohon Rd., Harrodsburg, KY 40330. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com.
