Darill Lester, 74, Harrodsburg, KY, widower of Patricia (McMaster) Lester, died Thursday, February 8, 2024, at home. He was born July 22, 1949, in Mercer County; he was the son of the late Horace and Lucille (Jackson) Lester. Darill was a self employed construction worker and was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Survivors include: Three sons: Danny (Emily) Lester of Harrodsburg, KY, Tommy Lester of Georgetown, KY and Darrin (Jill) Smith of Waynesburg, KY; one brother: David (Debbie) Lester of Weston, FL; Two Beloved Donkeys, Oreo & Lil Bit. Funeral services will be held at Ransdell Funeral Chapel on Monday February 12, 2024 at 11:30am and will be officiated by Jonathan Johnston. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be Sunday February 11, 2024 from 5pm-8pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers: Hunter Lester, Keith Lester, Jaylan Brashear, Eugene Edwards, Lee Lyons and Dwayne Stephens. Memorials have be suggested to Heritage Hospice 120 Enterprise Drive, Danville, KY 40422.
