James H. “Jimmy” Hurley, 62, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Mary Woodard-Hurley, died Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born August 27, 1961, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Harold and Patricia Ann (Lively) Hurley, Burgin, KY. Jimmy was a lifelong Farmer and attended Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include: a son, Brandon (Krysta) Hurley of Burgin; three step children, Philip (Erica) Woodard of Lexington, Ashley (Brandon) Johnson of Denver and Courtney (Chris) Greenway of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Layla Wilmer, Baelyn Woodard and Addisyn Woodard and several cousins. Jimmy was preceded in death by his sister; Terri Hurley Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the Immanuel Baptist Church by Harold Best. Visitation will also be at the Immanuel Baptist Church, 1280 Faulkner Ln, Danville, KY, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Burgin Memorial Garden, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: Johnny Lakes, Dr. Butch Godfrey, Donnie Cocanougher, David Woodward, Lonnie Lawson, Philip Woodard and Eddie Horn.
