DAVID HAROLD DEARINGER
David Harold Dearinger, age 78, 734 Fairview Court, husband of Wanda Jean Carr Dearinger, died Saturday, November 22, 2003 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington,
Born November 5, 1925 in Salvisa, he was the son of the late David B. and Staddie Springate Dearinger.
He was a retired barber, a US Army veteran of WWII, a member of the VFW and the American Legion, a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, and enjoyed fishing and was an award winning embroider.
Survivors other than his wife, include: three daughters, Margaret Ann Dearinger and Patricia Sue Rawlings, both Harrodsburg, and Staddie McGuire, Berea; one brother, James V. Dearinger, Danville; a step-son, Tony Sexton, Harrodsburg; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 25 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rev. Richard Easterling, Dr. Robert Defoor, and Rick Snyder. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery with military rites.
Pallbearers will be David C. Dearinger, David T. Darland, Mike and Adam Turner, Brian Kendrick, and Herman Ward. Honorary bearers will be grandchildren, a son-in-law, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 until 9 pm Monday and after 7:30 am Tuesday at the chapel.
Memorials are suggested to the Harrodsburg Baptist Church Activity Center or to the charity of ones choice.
