Debra L. Maus, age 50, , Ft. Wayne, wife of James Maus, died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Parkview Hospital, Ft Wayne, IN.
Mrs. Maus was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky on August 2, 1959, the daughter of Maurice and Pearl (Berryman) Gritton. She spent her formative years in Mercer County, Kentucky and graduated from Harrodsburg High School in 1977. She earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana University, and later received her master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.
She was member of the Huntertown United Methodist Church and the Rotary Club.
Survivors include: her parents, Maurice & Pearl Gritton of Harrodsburg and a brother: Steve (Millie) Gritton of Tryon, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM, Monday, April 19 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Harold Best and John David Lane Burial will be in the Hopewell Baptist Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 18 from 2-5 pm and Monday after 10 am.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Christian Life Center, 108 S. Main, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
Memorial services in Indiana will be held at 7 p. m. on Monday, April 26, 2010, at the Huntertown United Methodist Church, 16021 Lima Road, with Pastor Greg Hiatt, officiating.
