Mary Alice Woods, age 82, Harrodsburg, widow of Myriell Thomas Woods, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at her home in Harrodsburg, KY.
Born December 20, 1927 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Susie (Beckham) Marksbury. She was a homemaker and a member of the Carpenters Christian Church.
Survivors include: a daughter: Pamela (Lee) Thompson of Harrodsburg and a son: Michael (Louketta) Woods of Lawrenceburg; Sister-in-Law, Mary Lee Elliott; Four Grandchildren: Teresa Higginbotham, Tim Woods, Kelly Short and Michael Thomas Woods II; Six Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 21 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Greg Warren and Larry Camic. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa.
Pallbearers are: Tim Woods, Chris Higginbotham, Chad Short, Steve Pete `Elliot, Bill Elliott, Kenny Wade, David Wade and Dennis Wade.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 20, after 5:00 PM and Wednesday prior to the Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Carpenters Christian Church.
