Maurice B. Mayes, age 82, Harrodsburg, widower of Mildred Alford Mayes, died Sunday, May 2, 2010.
Born June 8, 1927 in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Roy and Reva Atkinson Mayes. He was a retired Corning Glass employee.
Survivors include: one daughter: Patricia Ann (Tom) Moore of Harrodsburg, two sisters: Lois (Gene) Atchison of Grassy, MO, Mary Ellen (Bud) O'Keefe of Louisville, two Granddaughters: Angelia (Pete) Mitchell, and Margaret Weisenbach, and four Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 5 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Chuck Vernon with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 4 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.
