Ivana D. "Tuff" Thurman, age 90, Thurman Ln., Harrodsburg, widow of Sam J. Thurman Jr., died Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born February 11, 1920 in Bradfordsville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Bob and Bessie (Whitlock) Ewing. She was a retired Cricketeer Mfg. seamstress and was a member of the Lebanon Christian Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Joe Thurman and John Thurman, both of Harrodsburg, KY; one grandchild, Samuel Wayne Thurman.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dale Denton with burial in the Old Liberty Cemetery, Bradfordsville.
Pallbearers are Jack Turner, Dale Turner, Tommy Simpson, Donald Royalty, Don Bugg, and Tom Wayne.
Visitation will be Friday, May 7 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
