Anna C. Reed, age 70, 460 Tabler Ave, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, May 30, 2010 at her home.
Born October 14, 1939 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late J. B. and Ruby (Payne) Smithey. She was a retired Corning Glass employee and was a member of the Bohon Church of Christ.
Survivors include: two sons, Field M. "Jack" (Rita) Reed of Harrodsburg, KY, and Thomas C. (Kim) Reed; three sisters, Jeannette Milburn of Burgin, KY, Betty Jo Sanders of Harrodsburg, KY, Billie Sue Shirley of MS; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two cousins, Ruth (Jackie) Claycomb of Harrodsburg, and Dell Meachem of FL.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 3, 2010, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Julius Hovan with burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are James Milburn, Jackie Claycomb, Lee Sanders, Marty Milburn, Seth Pittman, and Justin Reed. Honorary bearers are Brittany and Thomas Reed, Brody and Jamie Pittman, and Carissa and Carey Milburn.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 2, 2010, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
