Forrest Bradshaw, age 71, Cane Run, Harrodsburg, husband of 49 years to Geraldine Adams Bradshaw, died Sunday, July 4, 2010 at the Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, KY.
Born February 2, 1939, in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late James Morgan and Mary Wilma (Demaree) Bradshaw. He was a retired painter and a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors other than his wife include: two daughters, Laura Simpson and Shannon (Chris) Long, both of Harrodsburg, KY; grandchildren, Eric, Molly & Andy Simpson, and Chase & Eli Rogers. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Bradshaw.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM, Wednesday, July 7 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. Cecil Burns with burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are Geraldine Bradshaw, Shannon Long, Laura Simpson, Eric Simpson, Chris Long, Jerry Bradshaw, Bill Price, and Glenn Bugg. Honorary bearers will be friends from Terry's Corner and his mailman buddy, Brian Logue.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM Tuesday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.Memorial contributions may be sent to a Charity of One's Choice.
