Mary Ivadean Preston, age 72, of Harrodsburg, died Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.Born January 20, 1938 in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Flonnie (Douglas) Godbey. She was a homemaker, former Louisville Store clerk, and member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Glen Preston; two sons Mike Preston and Mark (Marsha) Preston; two sisters, Nannie Guthrie and Faustine Ames; one brother, Lester Godbey; seven grandchildren: Matt, Kelsey, Nathan, and Malachi Preston, Kelli Crews, Alecia Wimer, and Chris Cordial. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, Aug. 2, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Ernest Fields with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery.Pallbearers are: George Douglas, Anthony Wayne Godbey, Keith Anness, Kerry Anness, Brian Sears and Tommy Anness. Visitation will be Sunday, August 1, 5 - 9 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.Memorial contributions may be sent to heritage hospice.
