Corneila Catherine Catlett, age 85, Perryville Road, Harrodsburg, widow of Garnett Catlett, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital Extended Care, Harrodsburg, KY. Born March 10, 1925 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late John Dwight and Bernice Tara (McCristal) Wickersham. She was a retired Corning/North American Phillips employee and was a member of Bethel Cumberland #1 Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and the Cumberland Presbyterian Women's Mission. Mrs. Catlett loved cooking, sewing, crafts, and farming. She had also served as a 4-H Leader for a number of years. Survivors include: two daughters, Lana (Hugh) Bullock and Jean (Johnny) Currens, both of Harrodsburg; one son, Ricky (Regina) Catlett of Harrodsburg, KY; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Reva Semones. Funeral services will 2:00 PM, Saturday, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Byrd and Garry Allen. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are Brent Currens, Cary, Stephen, and Blake Keebortz, Erik Sims, John Wickliffe, Tim Martin, Daryl Catlett, and Roland Arnold. Visitation will be after 5 PM Friday, August 13, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorials are suggested to Bethel Cumberland #1 Cemetery Fund.
