Mary Elizabeth Roberts, 85, Harrodsburg, widow of Russell Evans Roberts, died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital Extended Care, Harrodsburg.
Born February 19, 1925 in Mackville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mollie (Coslow) Carrier. She was a retired seamstress from Cricketeer and a member of the Harrodsburg Church of Christ.
Survivors include: two daughters: Lea Shirley and Bea Norton; three Grandsons, Jimmy Norton, Timmy Shirley, Tommy Shirley and Two Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by five brothers: Russell Carrier, Marvin Carrier, Raymond Carrier, Elwood Carrier and Garnett Carrier and three sisters: Lettie Smith, Beulah Smith and Genevia Phillips.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday, August 15 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Mike Estes. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Timmy Shirley, Tommy Shirley, Jimmy Norton, Mike Carrier, Terry Phillips, Tim Devine, Steve Carrier and Joe Carrier.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 14 from 5-8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
