George C Rogers, 87, Danville, husband of Geraldine Jeri Alberta Harris Rogers, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born January 5, 1923 in Corning, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Josephine (Roloson) Rogers. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a supervisor for Corning and a member of the American Legion, VFW and the Episcopal Church.
Survivors include: his wife: Jeri Rogers, a daughter: Patricia (Carroll) Perkins and a son: George (Mӯ) Rogers; Three Grandchildren: Linda Coontz, Melissa Weissrock and Lee Anne Brogle; Six Great Grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10AM, Saturday, September 11 at the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg by Terry Taylor.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Church or Charity of choice.
