Darryl Wayne King, age 62, Harrodsburg, husband of Patsy Humphries King, died Monday, September 6, 2010 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born January 29, 1948 in Falmouth, KY, he was the son of Ruby (Perrin) King and the late Emery Calvin King. He was an Air Force veteran. Darryl was a retired radiologic technician at the VA Hospital and was currently working maintenance at Centre College and a member of the Lenoxburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife: Patsy King, Mother: Ruby (Perrin) King, one daughter: Kelly King (Gene) Moore and one son: Daniel Shane King of Harrodsburg; four sisters: Brenda King of Lexington, Janet King of Nashville, Caroline (Jim) Gallagher of Paris, and Cheryl King of Lexington; one brother: Barry King of Dry Ridge; Special Family Friend, Sharon Pinkston.
Funeral services will be 11AM, Thursday, September 9 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John David Lane and Mark Thompson. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Wayne King, Damon Denny, Edle Casey, Roger Followell, Marvin Eaton, and Jerry Mobley.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial contributions may be sent to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Foundation.
