Obituary of Jerry Barnett

Jerry Barnett, age 67, Salvisa, husband of Barbara Jean Conner Barnett, died Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, KY.
Born November 15, 1942, he was the son of the late Floyd Woodson and Azille L. Goodlett Barnett. He served in the Navy. He was a custodian for Mercer County School System was an honorary member of the FFA and member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: one daughter: Kim(Doug) Anderson of Salvisa and one son: Chad (Lisa) Barnett of Greenup, KY; two sisters: Charlene Pinkston and Mitzie Bugg both of Harrodsburg. Four step sons: Daniel Anderson of Marietta, OH, Doug Anderson of Harrodsburg, Jon David Anderson and Darrell Anderson both of Lowell, OH. 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 6 at 2pm at the Bethel Baptist Church by Brad King with burial in the Bethel Baptist cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Dennis Tyler, Lee Howard Releford, Danny McDonald, Kenny Long, Dan Anderson, Darrrell Anderson, Jon David Anderson, Jason Watkins, Mark Buckner. The Custodial Staff at Mercer County Schools are to be Honorary Pallbearers.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 5 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
