Richard Daryl Drury, age 68, of Bloomfield, formerly of Mercer County, died Monday, October 11, 2010 at the Flaget Memorial Hospital, Bardstown.
Born May 2, 1942 in Anderson County, KY, he was the son of the late Herman and Eula Faye Harlow Drury. He was a retired construction worker and served in the U. S. Air Force.
Survivors include: his wife, Kathleen Yates Drury; one daughter, Becky Jones of Frankfort; two sons, Gary Drury of Harrodsburg and Chris Drury of Frankfort; two sisters, Frances Wilkins of Versailles and Bonita Tingle of Mercer Co.; two brothers, Leon Drury of Campbellsville and Vernon Drury of Lawrenceburg; two step sons, Tony Milburn and Joey Milburn both of Bloomfield; two step daughters, Robin Osborne of Bloomfield and Kellie Burns of Chaplain; seven grandchildren; six step grandchildren; one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ellen Frances Moore Drury.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John Richardson. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery with military rites.
Pallbearers are: Josh Jones, Chris Drury, Tyler Drury, Adam Drury, Kenny Allen Moore, Ryan Osborne.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 13 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.
