Joan Blankenship, 72, Harrodsburg, wife of Joe Blankenship, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at her home in Harrodsburg, KY.
Born May 1, 1938 in Switzerland County, IN, she was the daughter of the late Joseph N. and Pearl (Stone) Wilson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church, Doris Davis Circle and the 309th Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include: her husband: Joe Blankenship, a daughter: Melanie (Roger) Mork of Cheyenne, WY and a son: Jeff (Debbie) Blankenship of Harrodsburg, KY; one brother: Mike Wilson of Elyria, OH; Two Grandchildren: Jae Blankenship and Alex Mork; Thirteen Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, October 20 at the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church by Ken Klemme. Burial will be in the Union Chapel Cemetery, Scottsville KY.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 19 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY and at the church after 9:30 am on Wednesday.
