Ralph E Trayner
Ralph E Trayner, age 77, Harrodsburg, widower of Betty Meredith Trayner, died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, KY.
Born June 4, 1933 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Loyd and Lillian (Rogers) Trayner. He served during the Korean war in the Army. He was an IBM manager and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include: two sons: Mark and Chip Trayner; two sisters: Linda Preston and Betty Jo McMichael all of Harrodsburg, KY; one brother: Carroll Trayner of Pompano Beach, FL; three grandchildren: Shane Trayner, Seth Trayner and Chelsie Trayner.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 21 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Robert Barton with burial to follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Bobby Catlett, Shane Trayner, Seth Trayner, Dan Walls, Brian Kelty and James Wheeler.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 20 from 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Mercer Humane Society.
