Obituary of Garnet J. Leonard

Garnet J. Leonard, age 95, Harrodsburg, widower of Dorothy B. Medley Leonard, died Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born October 31, 1915 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Joseph M. and Lillie Kirkland Leonard. He was a retired LPN from the Kentucky State Hospitals, he did surveying and was a farmer. Garnet was a member of the NRA and the Harrodsburg United Presbyterian Church. Survivors include: one daughter: Evelyn Taylor of Harrodsburg, and a son: Dr. Garnett J. Leonard, of North Little Rock, AR, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM, Wednesday, February 16 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John Kesel with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 16 from 7:30 am till hour of service.
Memorial contributions may be sent to charity of one's choice.
