Juanita Sissie Gilliland, 84, Harrodsburg, wife of Robert Gilliland, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 her home in Harrodsburg, KY.
Born in Harrodsburg, to the late Jimmy Lee and Pearlie (Devine) Claunch. She was a a member and custodian at Benton Baptist Church, she had also worked for Harlow School System and Genesco.
Survivors include: her husband: Robert Gilliland, one son: Mickey Gilliland of Harrodsburg; three Granddaughters, Tracie Gilliland of Harrodsburg, Meredith Sizemore of Perryville, Blythe Gayheart of Versailles; three Great Granddaughters, Lindsay Barnes, Lauren Barnes and Hannah Sizemore; one sister: Aileen Gilliland of Harrodsburg, KY.
She was predeceased by a sister, Janet Lee Claunch.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 19 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Tim Gray. Burial will be in the Patterson Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Richard Hudson, Stevie Elliott, Jason Gayhart, Kyle Bailey, Curtis Sims, Brad Cox, Billy Beavers and Pete Elliott. Honorary Bearers: Bill Elliott and Mike Hudson.
Visitation will be Friday, February 18 from 5-8 pm and Saturday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Benton Baptist Church or the Gideon Bible Fund.
