GARY PAYTON STRATTON
Gary Payton Stratton, age 57, 1095 Riley Road, Gravel Switch, died Friday, December 19, 2003 at the University Of Kentucky Medical Center.
Born August 8, 1946, he was the son of the late Abe Stratton, Sr. and Virginia Howard Stratton and was a retired employee of Florida Tile in Lawrenceburg.
Survivors include: a daughter, Carrie Stratton, Berea; four brothers, Abe Stratton , Jr., Wayne Stratton, and Warren Stratton all of Harrodsburg and Drew Stratton, Mackville; five sisters, Nance Besler, Ocean City, Maryland, Helen Mitchell, Frankfort, Susan Robinson, Harrodsburg, Gayle Arthur, Paintsville, Kay Cloyd and Lana Turpin, both of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth and Delbert Stratton.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, December 22nd at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Edward Turpin and Gene Humes. Burial will be in the Stratton Cemetery in Mercer County.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Stratton, Jason Stratton, Rocky Stratton, Butter Moore, Charlie Shelton, Donnie Jones, and Amanda Stratton. Honorary bearers will be Nathan Johnson, Robbie Moore, Warren Stratton, Drue Stratton, Victor Mattingly, Osie Humes, Gene Humes, Donnie Jones, and James Bramer.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am Monday until the hour of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
