Peggy Lewis, age 69, 920 Riverside Drive, Harrodsburg, wife of Marvin Lewis, died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born April 17, 1941 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Hollie and Faye (Gibson) Parson. She was a retired American Greetings employee and member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church. Peggy loved collecting figurines, bird watching, and she loved her dogs: Isaiah, Missy, Lou, Lexie, and Tiny Boy. Other survivors include: one daughter, Robin Lynn Lewis of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister, Barbara Isham of Harrodsburg, KY; one brother, Bobby Parson of Harrodsburg, KY; one aunt, Arthalina Leonard of Salvisa, KY; two special cousins, Annette Langebrake and Lillian Ogden. She was preceded in death by nephew, Hollis Dewayne Isham. Funeral services will be 2:30 PM, Sunday, March 6 at the Harrodsburg Christian Church by Mark Thompson and Dann Masden with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Eddie Sherrow, Lonnie Campbell, Brennen Royalty, Charlie Royalty, Kenny Wade, Kevin Meredith, and David Leo. Honorary bearers are: Elders & Deacons of Harrodsburg Christian Church. Visitation will be Saturday, March 5 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY and 1:30 PM until the hour of service at the Church.
