Charlotte Sallee, 67, Harrodsburg, died Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born March 23, 1943 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Lee and Cordelia (Williams) Powell. She was a retired Laundry & Housekeeping Supervisor at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center and a member of the Eller’s Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include: two daughters: Bobbi Jean (John) Tyler and Rhonda Kay (Larry) Coontz both of Mercer County; a sister: Lena "Judy" Reed of Burgin and two brothers: Cornell Powell of Harrodsburg and Floyd Dale Powell of Lancaster; Four Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren and a Special Friend, Debbie Tyler of Harrodsburg. Charlotte was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Mae Sallee; two Grandsons, Bobby Hayes III, Matthew Jacob Coontz and a brother, Walter Carol Harmon and a sister Margaret Thompson. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Thursday, March 10 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Flowing Thompson Jr. and Floyd Dale Powell. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery, Dixville. Pallbearers are: Robin Hagenbuch, Larry Parker, Bernie Trump, Keith Taylor, David Kelly, Denny Thompson, Larry Reed and Kevin Todd. Honorary Bearers are: Damon Kelly, Larry Coontz Jr., Katrina Buford, Shelly Coontz, Isaiah Kelly, Chase Kelly, Ashton Kelly and Brown Sugar. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 9 from 5-8pm and Thursday prior to Service. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Relay for Life.
