Floyd Maurice Gritton, age 86, Tryon, NC, formerly of Harrodsburg, husband of Pearl Berryman Gritton, died Monday, April 4, 2011 at the White Oak Manor, Tryon, NC.
Born January 23, 1925 in Anderson County, KY, he was the son of the late Floyd and Grecia Mae Stratton Gritton. He served in the U. S. Army and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. He was a retired Corning Glass employee.
Other survivors include: one son, Steve Gritton of NC. He was predeceased by a daughter Debra L. Maus.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 9 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with burial in the Hopewell Baptist Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Friday, April 8 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
