Dorothy Jean Wilson, 77, of Cullman, AL, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Monday, April 4th at Cullman Regional Medical Center, Cullman, AL. Born December 10, 1933 in Winchester, KY, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mae Shrout Shelton. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Danville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelious Wilson, Jr. and a daughter, Janet Wilson Hensley.
Survivors include her daughter Jennifer (Gary) DeBoer of Cullman, AL, a brother Richard Lewis (Madeline) Shelton of Nicholasville, KY, 2 grandchildren April Dean Clark and Kayla Dean, 3 step-grandchildren Kristin (Bryan) Williams, Gregg (Liz) DeBoer, and Joey (Angela) DeBoer, 2 great-grandchildren Kaiden Graves and Berklee Clark, 4 step-great-grandchildren Sam & Sarah Grace Williams, Oliver DeBoer, Alyssa DeBoer, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9th at Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve James, Rev. Mark Payton and Rev. Fred G. Wilson. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens in Lexington, KY.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 8th from 5-8 p.m. at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
