Matthew Wayne Mendez, 15 month old son of Juan and Summer Satterly Mendez, Harrodsburg, died Monday, April 4, 2011, at the UK Medical Center.
Other survivors include: maternal grandparents, Frank and Dottie Jackson and Tommy Satterly, Harrodsburg; paternal grandparent, Judy Mendez, Mexico; great grandparents, Janice Yount and Betty Satterly, Harrodsburg, and Rufina Jimenez Garcia; aunt, Jessica Satterly; uncle, Geoffrey Peele.
Funeral services 1 PM Thur. at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation after 12 noon Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the UK Childrens Hospital.
