Chester B. Scott, age 89, formerly of Pleasant Hill Dr., Burgin, widower of Lorraine Leonard Scott, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011 in Danville, KY.
Born November 1, 1921 in Washington Co., KY, he was the son of the late Chester and Minnie (Votaw) Scott. He was a retired Millwright for Duncan Machinery Movers and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include: one daughter, Judy (Jimmie) Hawthorne of Lexington, KY; one sister, Jewell Pinkston of Cardwell, KY; one brother, Winston Scott of Louisville, KY; Special Friends who provided exceptional care, Angela Williams, Jennifer McClain, and Joe Turner. He was preceded in death by a brother, Rudolph Scott.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 10, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Brad King with burial in the Burgin Memorial Garden.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 9 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
