Obituary of Kenneth D. Robinson

Kenneth D. Robinson, age 86, Harrodsburg, died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the V.A Medical Care, Lexington, KY. Born February 7, 1925 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Francis E. and Helen Theuer Robinson. He served during World War II as a gunners mate in the Navy/Coast Guard. He was founder, president and CEO of the National Hospital Network Systems and a member of the Dutch Reform Church. He was also a live member of the VFW and American Legion as well a member of the National Hospital Association. Kenneth had a passion for trains. Survivors include: five daughters: Patricia (Joe) Giaritelli of NC, Michelle (Mike) Geil of FL, Marilyn Bates of FL, Barbara (David) Horton of TN, Carrie Robinson of GA and one son: Kenneth D. Robinson, Jr. of TX; thirteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. Burial will be in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Ransdell Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
