Obituary of Jessie Travillian

Jessie Travillian, age 100, Harrodsburg, widow of Pleas Travillian, died Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg. Born April 8, 1911 in Tullahoma, TN, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Zetta (Smith) Creek. She was a retired nurse's aide from the Kentucky State Hospital and a member of the Herington Lake Pentecostal Church. Survivors include: three sons: George Travillian of FL, Lonnie Travillian, and Pleas Travillian Jr. both of Harrodsburg; three daughters: Samantha Sturdivant and Zetta Lanham both of Danville, Mable Carrier of Frankfort; Twenty–Seven Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by four sons: Chester, Samuel, Stallard and David. Funeral services will be 12:30 PM, Tuesday, June 21 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Larry Holbrook. Burial will be in the Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are: Pleas Travillian Jr., Lonnie Travillian, George Travillian, Chester Travillian Jr., David Wayne Travillian and David Dobbs. Honorary Bearers are: Bob Jackson, Gary Pike, Bart Moore, Gardner Travillian. Visitation will be Monday, June 20 from 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
