Obituary of James Cleveland "Red" Robinson

James Cleveland "Red" Robinson, age 81, of Salvisa, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Thomson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore.
Born December 14, 1929 in Lawrenceburg, KY, he was the son of the late James Harvey and Hester Humes Robinson. He served during Korean War in the U. S. Army. He was a retired City Of Harrodsburg employee.
Survivors include: one daughter: Rebecca (Chip) R. Phillips of Susanville, CA; one sister: Lyda Robinson of Salvisa, and one brother: Rayford Robinson of Fairdale, KY; Grandchildren: Kacie Rae Phillips, Kristopher Glen Robinson, and Corporal Richard Alan Phillips, and several nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by siblings: William (Ras) Robinson, Katheryn Baker, and Nancy Robinson.
Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, July 7 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by David Collier. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemtery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday, July 6, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel
