Murrell Gabhart, age 93, 413 Chippewa Dr., Harrodsburg, widower of Nantie Bell Reed Gabhart, died Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born February 10, 1918 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Morgan and Lottie (Roberts) Gabhart. He was a retired farmer, an Army veteran of WWII, a member of the DAV and Farm Bureau. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of Christ, but attended the Harrodsburg Church of Christ.
Survivors include: one daughter, Laura Lou (Don) Bronn of Owensboro; one son, Robert Lewis (Sondra) Gabhart of Euless, TX; one sister, Mable G. Berry of Glasgow; one brother, Chester Gabhart of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren, Traci G. Gann, Juli Butler, and Kyle Gabhart; five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Monday, September 26 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Keith Greer with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Memorial are suggested to a charity of one's choice.
