Steven Lee Forsythe, age 59, Harrodsburg, died Monday, October 24, 2011, at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born January 23, 1952 in Pickaway, OH, he was the son of the late Donald E. and Leah M. Davis Forsythe. Steven was an advocate for handicap awareness and accessibility for Ohio disabled in Washington, D.C. He was a retired thoroughbred horse trainer, woodworker, and artist, and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sisters, Susan DeCan of Harrodsburg, and Nancy Elgin of TX; nieces, Sherry Ann Logan, Amy N. Martin, Melissa Baladez; nephews, David DeCan, Jerry Forsythe, Jr., and Glenn Allen Miller; twelve great nieces & nephews and several Aunts and Uncles. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Forsythe, Sr., and a nephew, Mathew E. DeCan.
Graveside services 11 AM Thurs. at the Bethel-Cumberland Presbyterian #1 Cemetery, Perryville Rd., Harrodsburg.
Ransdell Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
