Elizabeth Harris, age 94, Danville, widow of Rufus Harris, died Saturday, December 3, 2011, at the Charleston Health Care Center, Danville, KY.
Born October 29, 1917 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Nelson and Hattie (Buchanan) Davenport. She was retired Harrodsburg Board of Education as secretary to the superintendant.
Survivors include a brother: Robert Davenport of Danville, and Several Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, December 5 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Andy Wing. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Her Nephews will serve as Pallbearers.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 4 from 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
