Hazel R. Davenport, age 97, 351 Woodsland Dr., Harrodsburg, widow of James Davenport, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012 the Haggin Memorial Hospital Extended Care in Harrodsburg.
Born July 28, 1914 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ella (Godfrey) Royalty. She was a retired seamstress for the former Palm Beach Clothing Co. and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three granddaughters, Sharon Gann of Oklahoma City, OK, Karen Thetford of Broken Arrow, OK, and Pam Doran of Midwest City, OK; one brother, Bob Royalty of Harrodsburg; one niece, Joyce Royalty of Lawrenceburg.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 7th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Wayne Spivey with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Friday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
