Buford Ray Lewis, age 72, Harrodsburg, died Saturday, January 21, 2012, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born February 28, 1939, in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Paige A. and Loamie (Claunch) Lewis. He served during the Vietnam War, in the Army. He was a (retired) worker at Hitachi.
Survivors include: four sisters: Lillian Opal French, Florence B. Devine, Linda Joyce Watts, all of Harrodsburg and Babara Gayle (Charles) Hodge of Moreland, KY; three brothers: Charles Lewis, Tony Lewis and Pagie Wayne Lewis all of Harrodsburg; Special Friend, Kenneth L. Whiteside of Harrodsburg. Predeceased by: Elizabeth Hayslett, Melvin Bruce Lewis and Glen Lewis.
Funeral services will be 02:00 PM, Wednesday, January 25 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by George Dye and burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Bueford Watts, Donald French, Billy Barnett, Tim Lewis, Richard Lewis and Terry Lewis.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 24 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
