Eva Peavler Barnes, age 85, Harrodsburg, wife of Elmer "Pete" Barnes, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born November 2, 1926 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Dollie Sallee Peavler. She retired from Good Samaritan Hospital housekeeping department.
Survivors include her husband: Elmer "Pete" Barnes and son: Kenneth Long, a Step Son: James Barnes, two Step Daughters: Robin (James) Brooks and Judy (David) Pinkston all of Harrodsburg.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Ransdell Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
