Harry Clay “Buddy” Terhune, IV, 55, Louisville Road, Harrodsburg, died Monday, February 27, 2012, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. Born February 26, 1957 in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Harry "Sonny" and Carolyn (Hanby) Terhune III. He was married to Sandy Neal Terhune. Buddy was a farmer and a truck driver for Holland Transportation. He was a member of the New Providence Presbyterian Church, the International Brotherhood Teamsters Union #651, and the Guernsey Cattle Association. Survivors include: his wife: Sandy (Neal) Terhune ; a sister: Teresa (Herbie) Ashton of Harrodsburg and brother: Stephen Terhune, Niece & Nephew: Suni Carol Ashton and Andy Ashton all of Harrodsburg, KY. Buddy showed unconditional love to Winnie and many other Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, Great Great Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Thursday, March 1 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Gene Shields. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Andy Ashton, Billy Cornelius, Arthur Elliott, Randy Scholtz, Ben Stratton, Tony Bast, Mac Mayes and Ricky Keller. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 29 after 4 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent to: Friends of Mercer County 4H, 1007 Lexington Road Harrodsburg, KY 40330 or Shriners Hospitals for Children 1900 Richmond Road Lexington, KY 40502.
