WILLIAM D. HARVEY

William D. Harvey, 82, 562 Boswell Street, Harrodsburg, husband of Betty Jo McHargue Harvey, died Saturday, January 10, 2004 at this residence.

Born July 11, 1922 in Corbin, KY, he was the son of the late Thomas and Lura Felts Harvey. He was a retired sheet metal worker for the Kirk and Blum Company and a member of the Felts Chapel Methodist Church in Corbin, KY.

Survivors other than his wife include: two step-sons, Samuel Sneed and Hillery Davis, both of Harrodsburg; one daughter, Donata Nelson, Louisville; two step-daughters, Mavin Cavanaugh, Fredrick, Maryland, and Connie Jo Doram, Harrodsburg; one grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Christopher Nelson.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 13th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Harold Best. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Road in Louisville on Wednesday.

Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel and Wednesday at the Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville prior to the committal service at the Calvary Cemetery in Louisville.
