Obituary of Charles Richard "Dick" Butler

Dick Butler, 76, Harrodsburg, husband of Linda Lou Bottoms Butler, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center.
Born June 23, 1935 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late John R. and Rose Lee (Bottoms) Butler. Dick served in the Army and Army Reserves. He was a retired manager of Speedway Filling Station; he loved woodworking and was remembered most for his days at the Mercer Roller Rink.
Survivors include: his wife: Linda Lou (Bottoms) Butler, a daughter: Lee Ann Clarkson and two sons: Mike Butler and Steve (Karen) Butler all of Harrodsburg, KY; four Grandchildren: Kyle Butler, Michael Butler, Levi Butler and Allyssa Butler; Several Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Joyce Ann Brown and Rosemary (Jasper) Spurlock.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 29 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Harley and Hillary Claypool. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Kyle Butler, Michael Butler, Levi Butler, Paul Butler, Scott Butler and John Brown.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday, March 28 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
