Obituary of Janice Thorton Souder

Janice T. Souder, age 75, Dixie Manor, Harrodsburg, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at her home.
Born March 24, 1937 in Grant Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Carl and Geneva Mae (Beach) Thornton. She was a retired secretary for the Evan Harlow Elementary School, having served in that role for 30 years, and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church and the Lunch Bunch.
Survivors include: one daughter, Kim (Robb) Uhl of Sabina, OH; two sons, Greg (Debbie) Souder and Chris (Carmen) Souder, both of Harrodsburg, KY; seven grandchildren, Katie & Amanda Uhl, Nicholas, Landon, Emmy, Carli & Connor Souder.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, May 11, 2012, at the Harrodsburg Baptist Church by Dr. Robert DeFoor and Rev. Wayne Spivey Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are Alvis Johnson, Mike Matherly, Nick Yeast, Allen Whitenack, Will Begley, Nicholas Souder, Landon Souder, Conner Souder. Honorary bearers are Phil Williams, Tom Beach, and Jerry Beach.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 10 from 5 - 8 PM at the Church.
