Obituary of James Norton

James Norton, age 68, Harrodsburg, husband of Beatrice "Bea" Roberts Norton, Harrodsburg, died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY. Born March 17, 1944 in St. Pauls, NC, he was the son of the late Joseph Daniel Norton and Pauline McDonald Graves, Frankfort. He was a retired Dye Setter for Square D Co. and was a member of the Harrodsburg Church of Christ and the Henry Clay Philatelic Society. Survivors other than his wife include: one son, Jimmy (Mary) Norton of Burgin, KY; two sisters, Bobbi (Bill) Wrenn of Lexington, KY, and Tamie (Bob) Guyn of Frankfort, KY; two brothers, William Calvin "Billy" (Ruth) Eldridge of Harrodsburg, KY, and John (Thelma) Norton of Arizona. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 3 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Keith Greer with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be Saturday, June 2, 2012, from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorials are suggested to a charity of one's choice.
