Marvin Carey, Sr., 73, Danville, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY.
Born March 25, 1939 in Harrodsburg, KY. He was retired from the Kentucky State Hospital.
Survivors include: three daughters: Melissa (Chester) Downs of Hustonville, KY, Emily Michelle (Sheryl) Downs of Stanford, KY, Kathy March of FL; and one son: Marvin (Betty) Carey, Jr. of Stanford, KY; one sister: Barbara (Fred) Shanks of Mt. Sterling, KY; Eighteen Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, June 11 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Marvin King and Chester Downs. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Bobby March, Michael March, Larry Allen Jr., Terry Carey, Dominick March, Dustin Downs. Honorary Bearers will be his Granddaughters, Tony Carey, Sawyer Carey, Madison March and Austin Carey.
Visitation will be Monday, June 11 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
