Don Wayne Whittaker, 74, Harrodsburg, widower of Jacqueline Mary McGraugh Whittaker, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born August 7, 1937 in Louisville, KY, he was the son of the late Ulysses A. and Hattie (Crain) Whittaker. He was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Survivors include: two daughters: Diana L. Clark and Lucinda L. "Cindy" Whittaker and a son: Dwayne (Linda) Whittaker all of Harrodsburg, and a Grandson, Christopher Clark. Don was predeceased by a son: Thomas Wayne Whittaker, three grandchildren: Matthew & Michael Clark and Stacy Whittaker; three brothers: Joseph, Kenneth A. and James Gordon Whittaker.
Funeral services will be 1 PM; Saturday, by Terry Morrison June 16 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Friday, June 15 from 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial contributions may be sent to American Heart Association or Cerebral Palsy.
