Obituary of Mary Ellen Owens

Mary Ellen Owens, age 88, widow of Ralph David Hartman and Robert Owens, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Born January 7, 1924 in Eldridge, KY, she was the daughter of the late Sonny and Jaylee Mason Buckner. Survivors include: four daughters: Jean Smith, Wyonette Camden, Ruthie Gray, Alma Railey, all of Harrodsburg; and seven sons: David Hartman, of Harrodsburg, Roy Hartman of Casey County, Ronnie Hartman, Charles Hartman, Watt Hartman, Paul Hartman of Harrodsburg, Mike Hartman of Danville; one sister: Effie Buckner of Sandy Hook, KY; forty-seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. She is predeceased by four children: Annie Belle Railey, Emmie Moore, Gerald Hartman, and Darrell Hartman. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, July 6 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be Thursday, July 5 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent to the family.
