Helen Coffman, age 69, Harrodsburg, widow of Edward Coffman, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born July 18, 1942 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of Elsie (VanArsdall) Pinkston and the late George Pinkston. She was a retired housekeeper for Country Hearth Inn and the Harrodsburg Police Dept.
Survivors include: one daughter: Jo Lynn Preston of Harrodsburg, KY; and one son: William "Bill" Coffman of Harrodsburg, KY; Grandchildren: Amberlee (Eric) Thomas, Jeremy Watts and Samantha Coffman. Predeceased by; grandson, Nick Carter.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 19 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Percy Spencer and burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 19 from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
