Linda Estes, age 71, Harrodsburg, widow of Robert A. Estes, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at the UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
Born March 5, 1941 in Tuscaloosa, AL, she was the daughter of Pauline S. Moore of Alabama. She was a member of David's Fork Baptist Church, Lexington and the Harrodsburg Business and Professional Women's Club. She was a retired Signet Systems. She was in the Danville and Lexington bowling leagues, an avid reader, enjoyed bunko and quilting and her greatest joy came from helping others.
Survivors include: one daughter: Teresa A. Parham of Harrodsburg, and one son: Jimmy David (Teresa) Parham Jr. of AL; a sister: Paula Nan Gibbs of AL; and one brother: James (John) Moore Jr. of AL; Grandchildren: Justin Parham, Brent (Kerry) Parham and Jennifer (Scott) Morgan; one Great Grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, August 10 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Mickey Hyder with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation from 5-8 pm Thursday.
Pallbearers are: Bill Moss, Vernon Yaste, Jerry Hukle, Bobby Joe Guinn, Don Vazmina, Mark Steinpreis.
