Betty Jo McMichael, age 76, Harrodsburg, wife of Sherman McMichael, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born October 7, 1935 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Loyd and Lillian Marie Rogers Trayner. She was a retired bookkeeper for Joyce McKinney tax services, Drakeford Tire and BM Royalty.
Survivors include: her husband: Sherman McMichael, one daughter: Lisa Wellings of Lexington; and two sons: Ben McMichael of Louisville and Jeff (Tammie) McMichael of Owensboro; one sister: Linda (Jack) Preston of Harrodsburg; and one brother: William Carroll Trayner of FL; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; Charli Grace. Predeceased by brother; Ralph Trayner.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, September 14 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Greg Warren and burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Shannon McMichael, Jonathan McMichael, Matthew McMichael, Ashley McMichael, Brandon McMichael, Tyler McMichael, John Preston and Damon Preston.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 13 from 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
