Wanda Lee Smithers Ponder, age 72, Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center.
Born October 13, 1939 in Liberty, KY, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Flossie Bryant Smither.
Survivors include: three daughters: Lisa (Randy) Baughman of Harrodsburg, Tammy (Joe) Mattingly of Springfield, and Jodi Ponder of Harrodsburg, two sisters: Javana Short of Middleburg, Bea Edwards of IN; and four brothers: Steve Smither of Liberty, Gary Smither of Liberty, Richard Smither, Jr. of Somerset, Ronnie Smither of FL; five gandchildren, two great grandchildren. She is predeceased by five siblings: Velma Walls, Basil, Beul, Harold and Burrel Smither.
A memorial service will be held 5 pm Monday, October 15, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1124 Hustonville Road, Liberty, KY 42539
